Apologetics

It would be helpful if you choose items from each category that "match" with the other categories items you are choosing. For example, if I'm using a scripture that says we're all depraved, then I'd look for a quote that says we're all depraved from someone that has credibility, a story or a fact based article about how we're all depraved, and a definition of depravity.

For your table's apologetics topics find:

How to Approach this assignment:

  1. Pray - Ask God to show you what He wants you to focus on when approaching this assignment.
  2. Review the Questions - Look at the list of questions and see if anything "pops" at you to focus on. The goal is to find support that will address as many of the questions as possible in order to be prepared in competition. If a particular word, phrase, or question really sticks with you, then that is the place the start.
  3. Search - Look for scriptures, stories, etc. that will address the topic that the Holy Spirit put on your heart. Try to find a complete "set" of support, meaning a scripture, story, and quote (and possibly definition) that will answer what God put on your heart.
  4. Trust - Trust that God's got it! We are working as a team. He will fill in the holes.
